UZIA Awards is the premier excellence recognition platform of UZIA Africa, designed to identify, celebrate, and amplify the achievements of outstanding entrepreneurs, business leaders, and organisations across the continent — alongside the county governments building the strongest ecosystems for MSME creation, survival, growth and competitiveness.

The 2026 edition features 66 award categories across three tracks: 15 categories for Africa's counties (five pillars — Inclusive Entrepreneurship, Business Growth & Finance, Markets & Procurement, Infrastructure, Industry & Value Chains, and Future-Ready MSMEs), 49 categories for individual entrepreneurs and businesses (seven pillars — Inclusive Entrepreneurship & Empowerment, MSME Growth & Enterprise Excellence, Innovation/Technology & Digital Transformation, Finance/Investment & Business Sustainability, Markets/Trade & Value Chains, Skills/Employment & Enterprise Development, and MSME Ecosystem Leadership & Impact), and 2 Special Recognition awards (Lifetime Achievement and People's Choice) ahead of the AFRICA MSME Growth Awards Gala on Nov 19, 2026 at Argyle Grand Hotel, Nairobi.
